Red, wide and shiny, on the kitchen counter.
“That was it” I thought, no need for a wedding now, I’ve the toaster; TK Maxx Le Creuset.
The burnt red shiny kettle peeled on the stovetop. I sold the replacement.
Capitalism pushes forward, trends changing faster than my default relationship status. I’m lukewarm about my desire for an airfryer; crispy offspring. Dehydrators; fun but not essential.
I crave a Magimix; desire a wee rice cooker…
“Your kitchen’s too small for a rice cooker!” I’m told. Not so. The kitchen is small, but just big enough for a bent and lifted leg…
With love on Valentine’s Day x
